Formed in 1981, Metallica is one of the most influential and commercially successful rock bands in history. The accolades of the band are extensive: over 110 million albums sold, 9 Grammy awards, several MTV Video Music awards and dozens of tours all over the world. Their last studio recording Hardwired… To Self-Destruct (2016) sky-rocketed to the top of charts and the tour that followed has seen over 100 dates and counting. Metallica’s last visit to Finland was in May 2018 and as a result the attendance record of Hartwall Arena was broken… twice.

Metallica is vocalist/guitarist James Hetfield, drummer Lars Ulrich, bassist Robert Trujillo and guitarist Kirk Hammett.

One of the most popular Swedish metal bands, the critically acclaimed Ghost is returning to Finland! In the past two years this Grammy-winning group has been busy recording a new album “Prequelle” (2018), touring on their own as well as opening for Iron Maiden and Guns N’ Roses. Ghost’s greatest appeal is a mixture of haunting melodies and lyrics referring to occultism but also their trademark theatrical stage performances.

Straight out of Norway’s Trondheim, Bokassa describes their music as a mixture of hardcore punk and stoner rock. Debut album “Divide" & Conquer” saw daylight last year and ended up on Metal Hammer’s Top 100 Best Albums of the Year list. The men behind this power trio are vocalist/guitarist Jørn Kaarstad, drummer Olav Dowkes ja bassist Bård Linga. According to Lars Ulrich, Bokassa is his new favorite band: “These guys are f-ing insanely cool!” Can a recommendation get any better than that?
